Dear ones,
Today we will be talking about discipline. What does it mean from the perspective of positive psychology and within the unity of body, mind, and soul? What importance can it hold on a spiritual level?
Discipline also involves a certain kind of self-control and self-awareness, where, knowing ourselves well, we consciously guide ourselves. We discipline and transcend ourselves. The level here is already more elevated. We strive not to get caught in the web of the ego, but to move forward and remain persistent for the sake of a higher purpose. So other strengthening qualities are also connected to it.
Regarding the body, we are able to pay attention to what we consume: we eat more healthily. We keep our focus on consuming proper vegetables and fruits. Seeds, and if we are meat-eaters, then protein as well. We do not neglect exercise. We relax. Mentally, we nourish ourselves with uplifting, healing, and progressive content — whether in terms of movies, videos, or even educational materials. We speak more kindly and gently about ourselves and others, but we remain grounded in reality. We take action for our goals, not just talk about them. Spiritually, we pay attention to our conscience, we transcend and actualize ourselves. We live in peace with ourselves and with each other.
In spiritual terms, it means that in order to reach our higher material, emotional, or even intellectual good, we either make sacrifices or exercise perseverance. We know that we must work for a higher purpose. We are true to ourselves, and we are aware of the energies of higher dimensions. We begin to understand the laws of the universe. We grasp the existence of the Creator.
Let us also look at some positive affirmations for discipline.
With discipline, I take action toward achieving my goals.
I show up when the task needs to be done.
I manage my discipline well.
I am disciplined with myself.
I am focused.
I consider concentration important.
I am free with myself.
Thank you very much, travelers, for taking care of yourself today with attention, an open heart, and love. I wish you enthusiastic, sparkling, and uplifting experiences. Have a Happy Day!
Peace and Gratitude,
Szilárd
