POSITIVE PSYCHOLOGY - IDEATHERAPY

Dear Ones,

Today, I would like to talk with you about ideatherapy. What exactly is ideatherapy? How can we use it and what beneficial mechanisms does it have?

The idea itself is, of course, a concept, a notion, a thought formed in the mental sphere, which can have a positive connotation. It helps push us towards physical realization and have a physical outcome. The idea itself can be not just one, but numerous. This is where it's worth mentioning brainstorming. Brainstorming can be translated into Hungarian as 'ötletbörze' or 'ötletelés'. And this is where ideatherapy comes into the picture.

So, if a physical situation that needs solving requires a larger or greater number of ideas, then we can use it therapeutically and, let's say, design a mental map for it. In ideatherapy, any number of ideas can come forth. All of them: negative, positive, conceivable, or even inconceivable. The whole point is precisely that there are no requirements. For it is this freedom that provides its true effectiveness. There is no expectation placed upon it.

When is it best to apply ideatherapy? For example, during the realization of large projects, career guidance, future planning, construction execution, etc., etc.

Regarding its effect, it can be said that it helps to clear up the clutter in our brain, organize it, and create a physical imprint. It helps us to see and understand clearly what exactly we want.

    It feels good when I see my thoughts clearly.
